Brickwork started from Today

Last two weeks there hasn't been any work done. Bricking only started today (25-Jul). Should be completed by first week of August, earlier if weather is good.

On the landscaping side, we would need a higher retaining wall on one side. Still treated pine would do, no brick wall is needed which is a relief. Our potential landscaper is saying our neighbor should share the cost because they made the land level higher than expected! It will cost around 1k more, so most probably we will do it ourselves.

Single story houses are being built in both of the neighboring plots: which is a good thing indeed.

Frames Completed

Really impressed that McDonald Jones could complete framing work today (08-Jul-2016)! Also got to know that brickwork should be finished in three weeks time, weather permitting though.

Frames are delivered

Frames were delivered on 05-Jul-16 Tuesday. We both had a day-off on Wednesday, so went to visit the site. No one was working though. And the bad news is it will be raining rest of the week in Sydney. So we don't see the framework to start until next Monday!!

Frames delivered

I have gone to the area only yesterday after few months. And I couldn't recognize the place! Construction going on nearly 95% of the plots! Even we saw some families moved in to their newly finished homes already.

Surely the project will look good with all the newly build houses specially when their landscaping is done. Pierring work is also completed on our neighboring plot of right side. And the left site plot has their brickwork done already. So we assume no construction work will be happening on immediate neighboring plots when we will move in. That's a good thing because it will be surely less noisy and less dusty.

Got to know from our Site Supervisor that framework had started yesterday. It was quite unexpected given the weather condition though.
